Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you based?
Just outside Over Kellet, Carnforth. There is no public transport available.
Just off the M6, junction 35 - this spot is on the way up to the Lake District, close to Lancaster.
Specific details will be given upon booking.
I’ve never been to anything like this, what can I expect?
If you’ve never been to a women’s circle, you’re gently welcomed here — no experience needed.
Each gathering includes:
A grounding meditation
Intention setting
Guided journaling or reflection
Optional sharing (never pressured)
A simple ritual
Closing tea and quiet connection
Circles are calm, supportive, and intimate. You don’t need to speak, believe, or do anything in a certain way. Just come as you are — this is a space to slow down, feel held, and honour whatever season you’re in.
What are your ritual kits for and where can I buy one?
Ritual kits are gentle, hand-curated bundles designed to help you create your own moment of pause, reflection, and intention — either alone or with others.
They're for marking life’s quiet thresholds: new beginnings, endings, transitions, or simply the need to reconnect.
If not for you, they could make a meaningful gift for someone else.
They will be available for purchase from September…
When can you do the rituals?
Monthly New Moon ritual takes place on the first Sunday evening of the month. Open seasonal rituals will fall close to beginning of the seasons.
All other private sessions can take place upon an agreed date and time. Most evenings and weekends will be available, Wednesday all day. More options available during school holidays.
Do you create original artworks?
Yes, please get in touch via email to discuss commissioned artworks.
Can I book a ritual for someone else?
Of course, what a meaningful gift for a loved one. Gifting a ritual says: “You’re allowed to slow down. You’re allowed to be supported. You’re allowed to mark this moment with care.”
It’s more than an experience — it’s time, space, and care.
Gift it to someone who:
Is going through a transition (a breakup, a new beginning, motherhood, menopause)
Needs rest, reflection, or reconnection
Would love a thoughtful alternative to a party or spa day
Longs for deeper connection with themselves or others
Simply deserves to feel held and celebrated
First moon rituals, does my mum have to be there?
While mums and caregivers are warmly encouraged to attend for support, their permission is needed but their presence is not required. This space is primarily for the young women to explore, reflect, and feel empowered in their own time and way.
Why the name?
Wild Grass Gathering is named for the quiet, untamed beauty of wild grass — a symbol of softness, strength, and growing in your own way. It’s always found its way into my artwork and my hands on walks. Like many, I’m drawn to open fields and gentle places that offer stillness, space, and something ancient to lean into. I see the name as an invitation to return to that feeling — rooted, natural, and at ease — bringing together everything I’ve explored and created over the years into one gentle, unified space.
